Keeping Gene’s memory alive is the heart of Cavalier Cookers and the forefront of this organization.  Meat, cooking materials, building materials, and other supplies needed for a successful cook-off add up quickly. All proceeds from the event will go towards our annual Gene Young Memorial Scholarship which began in 2023.  In addition, all money raised at Frontier Fiesta is used by The University of Houston to go towards various scholarship programs for students at The University of Houston. So, ultimately, all the money you donate is going to a good cause.
